Used to have this:

Then this happened:

So I got this:

Didn't need the trailer anymore, and the price of fuel was getting to me. So I traded the truck, sold the trailer, and got a boat!

I know it's not a Ford...but it will do until I get another truck next summer!

Right click on the image you want to post from Photobucket, then choose 'copy image location' next, click the 'Insert Image' button above the FTE text box and insert the image location from Photobucket.

Your load is centered pretty well over the trailer axles. Is the weight of the trailer enough to get your truck to squat like that? I'd think you would want to move that load up on the trailer but looking at how low your bed is it makes me wonder.

I think the issue is that my truck came with the snow plow prep springs in the front. Even with no load, the front sits higher than the back, by about 1" unloaded.

If I move the tractor forward, then it sags more, and I have to move it in 3' increments if I want to strap it to the stake pockets correctly.

I had thought about bags, but the "poor mans lift" thread where the poster used F350 blocks, will work I think fine for me.

Oh, unloaded, I get FLASHED all the time because my headlights aim up a little.

I used to have a 26' bumper pull trailer, sold it last year and picked this GN up. It is 30' long. It tows WAY better and the extra space, I use often.

Here is what the same GN and tractor looked like behind my duramax, little to no squat, and the tractor was further forward with the bush hog.

Hopefully the truck has already been rebuilt! I purchased the wreck from my insurance company and sold it to another FTE member who was going to rebuild it. He then wrecked his '03 and needed a vehicle fast and had to sell my wrecked truck to pay for some cheap transportation until he could fix his '03. I believe it was the son of a body shop owner who has it now.
