Sail window glass

some low life broke the sail window on my drivers side 92.

looking at it...seems the glass place will more or less slide a new piece in.
I was wondering if there is a way to get the rivets out, so i can pull one from a junk yard.

I'm sure you could pull the glass by CAREFULLY drilling the rivets, but why? The junkyard will probably charge you the same amount for the whole piece as they would for the glass alone. Removing the frame is easy... take off the door panel and there will be one bolt holing the assembly to the door. There are also two screws holding the top portion of the frame to the door. The whole frame/glass assembly shounldn't be more than $15-20 at a junkyard.

It's easy enough to do without drilling anything. Just a matter of taking apart the door and pulling the bolts. Also there's a screw on the top door edge by the weather stripping that holds that window channel. The channel and window all pull out as one piece. I had to do this on my 83 a few years ago. Got the whole channel and window from the junkyard for $10.
