Loose Steering!! HELP
I have a 77 F150 and the steering is weird. It will be steering fine then start to veer one way then I correct it and it will veer again. It doesn't just do it to one side though. It has 35" M/T 14" wide that are worn pretty good. I bought the truck 3 weeks ago and want to get it safe to put on the road. I can push the tierod/drag link back and forth. But the joints dont seem bad. I have read a few posts that say to switch to 78-79 steering system, but i dont know how much and hard that is. Any help is appreciated
