coolant

i have a 2010 250 i bought used about 4 months ago it came 42k mls .when checking out engine i noticed it had green coolant and i would put green coolant cuz thats what it had, but now ive been told it needs the gold coolant. my question is does it really need the gold coolant and does it really make a difference in the cooling system? Also ive been reading about leaking radiators, and i noticed on mine that it started to leak on the driver side of radiator. when i got the truck i didnt get the extended warranty until about three weeks ago, so my 2nd question is if i take truck to dealership and they find green coolant would that void the warranty because of different coolant it has?

Where did you buy it from...I'd be going back there if it is a dealer, expecially a ford dealer.

Get it in now and have it all completey flushed and cleaned per Ford requirements. Have them do the fuel cooler too.

Changing to the green changes the chemical makeup with the metals in the motor.

Leaking radiators may just be the start of things. Look for caviation in the water pump and more.

Yes your warranty is probably in jepardy.
