Hey guys, has anyone out there ever tried to find a sending unit assembly for the gas tank on a 83 bronco? I'm hitting a wall at evey turn.
My only reason for replacement is to get the fuel gage to work. I removed the sending unit/ pick up and float assembly from the tank and found the wires inside the sendind unit were destroyed.
The only sending unit I was able to find thru the local dealership for the 83 bronco is for the 32 gal. tank. Well, I have the standard 25 gal. tank in mine, and the sending unit is no longer available. I've also tried all the parts stores in town with no luck. Then I tried calling around scrap yards. I've found an 84 and the guy there tells me the fuel gage worked when the bronco was dropped off. So I'm going to go pull this out and compair it with what I have.
But, I would rather replace it with a new or rebuilt one.
Any ideas on where I might be able to find one?
