Anyone heard of it. Sounds neat to me. I would even like to just apply for a job.

TLC & Discovery (I think) have had shows on Freedomship. I guess you must be in the top 5% of the income chain or have an indisposible skill that the ship will require. The prices that I saw quoted were in the millions with annual maintenance in the hundered of thousands. You might also consider that everything you eat will be priced according to upper crust bank accounts.

What kind of jobs do you think will be available. How about a bartender. Cleaner. Mechanic.
Everything. For a student for a couple of years. I think it would be neat. See the world.

the idea appeals to me. Say in a 100 years after we abolish hunger, poverty, and greed on land...did I say 100 years?

I give em a few years, they be sipping cool-aid

The top 5% of the income scale, huh? Thousands of blue-bloods gathered in one place?

One good storm from God and this thing will be history, even if they do try to build it, assuming it is not a scam. If a supertanker can be sunk from a storm, what about this thing. Just another exercise in vanity and wishful thinking.

I am still waiting for a moonbase, only been how many years since we supposedly set foot on the moon?

I imagine that on a ship like this you could get a job removing the pimento from the Olives.

91 years ago, much of the same accolades and praise was being bestowed upon a new, supership - the Titanic. Not for this landlubber.

Dunno, seems kinda cool to me. I don't suppose my superior ability to keep anything roadworthy with duct tape (bailing wire for the hot parts) and bungee cords would fly with these guys as a job skill. Even if it did, just about anyone on this forum is probably just as qualified as me, as it's a pre-requisite for restoring old trucks.

I dunno about that thing...I don't care much for water. And I don't care much for cities. A city on the water?

Whoa...I need some fresh air!!!!
