I know it.
Well, I couldn't save the bad spot on the grille... All the white needs to be resprayed. I went and picked up more color yesterday and need to get more clear monday or tuesday. Tape off all the grille slots again, sand, shoot, and hope for the best. Starting to turn into a job.

Everything was great! Had the grille in clear and all but then I noticed right at the top drivers side of the grille was 4-5 little black specs in a cluster. If it was anywhere else it wouldn't have bothered me as much but right there in your face I couldn't accept. So I started sanding at it with 800 and got one spec out right away, then two, and three, then I saw color coming off. I stopped and went to put two drops of color on the two remaining black dots and that was my dismay. The reducer in the base soaked threw the already sprayed base and into the primer which caused it to react and wrinkle. After that I went to sanding the area down and spraying just the effected area with primer again and it was just a continuous cycle from there with the "spot" getting bigger each time. I remembered something a good painted once told me and thats what I am working on now to save the grille from having to strip it and start over. I cleaned it all up and cleared over the whole grille again sealing it and starting with a fresh base for the white color again. Doing this will save the taping off and spraying the arizona beige again.
The clear is set up already, I just have to go over it and flatten it all out, spray white, and clear the whole grille a couple more times. What fun!
