curing time question

'90 F-250HD 4X / 460fi engine / auto trans

This is kind of stupid question and I appologize guys, but...
I just removed the rear diff cover from my Sterling 10.25 rear to replace the lube. I threw a bead of RTV around the cover and bolted it back on. The RTV tube says the sealant drys in one hour, and cures in 24 hours.
Stupid Question #1: How soon can I put the lube back into the diff?
Stupid Question #2: How soon can I drive it?
Thanks for your time.

curing time question

It's best if you let it set up a while before putting oil in it but most of the garages that do this kind of work just slap the cover on, dump the oil in and out it goes and it doesnt leak.
A little tip for putting oil back in it is to remove the speed sensor out of the top of the diff and just pour the oil in there until it runs out the check/fill plug.

Thanks for the answer, Dave... it was kinda what I was thinking, but I just hate to fill it and then watch it all run out, lol. I'll try your tip regarding the speed sensor too. Thanks again.
