You need an adapter/bellhousing, only co. I found is a company in Canada that I found out about on this forum, called Lentech. Once you have adapter you could use AOD from anywhere, I chose their adapter and trans because I have a built 390 and wanted something made to take it. Not many miles yet, but with a .67 final drive ratio it does drop approx. from 3000 to 2000 when goes into OD at 60. This was not a cheap-o. But I didn't have a C-6 or C-4 I still had the old cruiseamatic, so I didn't have a lot of options. There is a Gear Vendors Overdrive system that costs abot 2400, doesn't require any adapters or special linkage, etc. If you have good C-4 you may want to check that out.

I doubt that you have a C-4 behind the 360. The FE engines had C-6 or COM trannies.

It doesn't change your situation much.

You need either an afternarket A0D conversion or an OD unit like those mentioned above.

It's just not cheap to get OD behind an FE.....
