Power Max Turbo
I just replaced my stock turbo with a power max in my 05 excursion 6.0 & was wondering if sct has specific tunes for this turbo, or will my custom heavy tow 80 & street 120 egr delete work just fine, thanks curt

Some of the tuners change the tunes for the Powermax, but others don't. What tunes are you running? I had innovative tunes and they said they don't change the tunes for the Powermax. Matt at Gearhead gave me a SRL++ tune (my truck is studded). Right now I am running the Looney Wild tune from Vivian at Quick Tricks. I think this might be the tune I've been waiting for. Still on my first tank of fuel running this tune, so I haven't run it very long, but so far it seems to work great with my truck, which has a powermax/batmowheel/stock injectors. Only con so far is cold start/driving trans shifting is flaring and hunting a little bit.

I like how it shifts at the correct time for my driving style, and if you get on it, it seems to immediately respond. It isn't revving real high when I'm just driving through town (speed limits are 25 around here) and it goes into overdrive when I think it should, at 45 mph, not 50+ mph or not at all. I think it shifts very much like it does when it's stock, which a lot of other people might not like.
