hail dimples
hail dimples
has anyone had hail damage repaired. i have 5 tiny dimples in the hood of my 2010 f-150. do they have to get to the back side to repair. my hood seems to have a second panel under the hood. also can the passenger side panel on the dash that says air bag be replaced. it has ink marks on it from previous owner, (SLOB) Thanks
Contact your insurance company. There are places around here in PA I have seen that claim to remove hail damage without bodywork and paint. Its worth a shot. As for the ink marks did you try something like Simple Green or Castrols Super Clean? Not sure if it would F up the finish- anyone have any ideas?

Dbangb,
insurance agent from Ohio here. I have had well over a hundred hail claims this year and the repairs are done multiple ways from getting a new skin to replacement of the hood etc. You really really need to contact your insurance agent and get a claim going. You will be amazed at how much hail damage a good adjuster will be able to point out to you that you just dont see. Belive me i have counted dings on clients cars and then had the adjust show me twice as many or more. Its a comprehensive claim and shouldnt affect your rates at all. call them cause in a year or so it may be too late to file. believe me.
