96 f150 fuel problem
hello to all, im new at this so please bear with me. i have a 1996 f150 2wd, 302 auto trans. hears my story, i have been working on this truck for a couple months now after sittin for about 2 years. i thought i had everything figured out, it drove fine wednesday and when i got in it thursday to go get inspection the fuel pump was not coming on and of course didnt start. I have checked all the fuses and put in a new relay but still nothing. could this possibly be a fuel pump problem or maybe the regulator? any help will be greatly appreciated.

After sitting for 2 years, did you drain and clean the tank before getting it up and running? If not, you may have sucked up some garbage with the pump, which means that either the pickup screen is plugged, or the pump is bad, or both.
I'd drop the tank and check the pump...

thats probably what im gonna have to end up doin, i was just wondering if the regulator could be keeping the line pressured up not allowing the pump to kick on. or if that would even be a problem in this case. is there anyway to check this? or a way to check the pump to see if it would run before dropping tank out?
