Removing the heater

So I am building my truck to be a warm weather cruiser. I have the heater out of it and I'm thinking of leaving it out. I think it would look cool to fill in the defrost vents and the holes in the firewall.

Has anyone did this? Did you regret it afterward?

i haven't did it but the only problem (small problem) i see is windows maybe fogging up if it does so happen to rain. when i lived in florida seemed like every afternoon on the way home from work you would get a heavy shower you would row the windows up and about 5 minutes later your window would cloud up mainly from you in the cab breathing and the natural heat inside the cab cooler than the now outside air. so your choices to remove clouded window would either be towel, arm/hand, heater/defroster or row window down a smidge i always chose defroster for about 30 seconds each time. but neither of my old fords had air just heat so i dont know if air would make a difference or if you even have ac. im sure most will disagree with me but this is my 2¢ good luck either way.
