Replace or Repair Body Panels ?

There is a truck that I'm interested in around here.

It's a 74 F-250 High Boy and it needs body work.

Are the bodies easy to come by if I consider just replacing it ?
or
How available are Body Panels to repair it instead

I appreciate any kind of help! Thanks!

Be careful with aftermarket panels. See them if you can before you buy them. My truck has been completly redone with them and I wouldn't use them for patch material (to thin dent and ding easily) I'm going to buy Texas used panels, fenders, doors and bed. Just my opinion.

I agree with snowfighter. Be careful when buying some of the aftermarket items. Most have a poor quality of fit. I recently purchased a set of fenders and they would not line up for anything no matter what I tried. I also agree that they also dent very very easy.

A lot of the aftermarket stuff does not meet OEM specs whether you are buying for a 77 or a 97. Many are made from soft steel that forms easily for the manufacturer but they dent real easy. Ken carries the good stuff. Usually if the panels are made from OEM tooling the steel is high quality because the OEM tooling won't work with the soft steel.
