You got the new one from Sam Galloway ? Almost bought from them, but found the Platinum in Arlington...

My wife was driving. We did not know anything until she hit. Wife was looking for a gap to turn right in to and i was listening to Rush. Had we not been there she would have gone into the 4 lanes of crossing traffic or if we had been in a small sedan we all would have been in the traffic. That would have been ugly. Wittnesses say she was passed out when she hit us. Wife just pulled around the corner and off the street. Took this the next day.

Little ding there.... I had to look at the rim to even tell what kind of car it was.

How did she look after hitting you?

when I got the fog cleared and knew the wife was OK I got out and headed back to get me a piece of somebody. First thing in my mind was some youngster texting. About half way back I realized that there were a number of people already at her car trying to get in. I took a look and she was absolutely out, in fact I thought she was dead. I took several pictures and a couple guys came up and told me thy had seen everything and she was passed out before she hit us. Given her age I'm thinking some kind of medical deal and I'm still thinking she is dead. Then I learned a valuable lesson: never tell a paramedic that you have neck pain. I had some and they threw me down and strapped me on that board and secured my head until it hurt. It was a good two hours until I got that thing off and I was about to go postal by then. Anyway, when i got off the board the officer was there and I asked him about her and he says she is OK. I didn't find out until the next day that she was passed out, passed out drunk.

I have witnessed paramedics talking to drivers that had not a mark on them, had been up and walking for an hour with no pain. The driver looks at me and asked if he is legally required to ride in the ambulance? When I tell him no, I get the third degree and the ambulance company files a complaint.

But I have also witnessed a lady that was up and walking for an hour, and survived a 45 minute ambulance ride to the hospital, just to code in the ER.

So it's better safe that sorry.

P.S. Love your truck. Nice rig.
