390 Rod question
Do all 390s/FE's have full-floating pistons?
I took apart what was supposed to be a decent running 390 today...It was seized solid, pulled the oil pan and there was a chunk of ice big enough to have indents from the bacl 2 rods in it... I noticed once I hammered two piston/rod assemblies out (crank turned freely after that) that each piston was held on with clips rather than being pressed onto the rod or piston..
