hood pins

Does anyone one know if any long chrome hood pins are made that are long enough to actually go through the thick 69 hood ?I see LMC has them but in there pic they look like standard length pin and I have a set and they are too short to stick out hood .

Build mounts that raise the pins.

For my truck I used a couple pieces of flat 2" steel aproxiamately 6"long. I bent them to an "L" shape and bolted them to the rad support. I may weld them in place sometime.
