Trans cooler
Does anyone know the part number for the trucool ford kit??

No the trucool cooler you can get but there's a ford adapter kit you need and I can't find it on the website so I was seeing if anyone on here has one

dv, thats the cooler I have but I'm not familier w a Ford kit? Been running mine for a couple years now. What's in said kit?

Oh so that kit right there is all I need for a 7.3? I saw some people were talking about a ford kit they said they got with extra fittings and hose

All you need is extra is a couple of 1/4" bolts, nuts, and washers for the mounting flanges, some zip ties, and some hose & clamps to extend the cooler lines.

Mount the Trucool to the upright bars behind the grill as shown.

Name: S1O~us~en~file=A0025665_gif~gen~ref.gif Views: 1632 Size: 20.6 KB
Remove the hose connection shown in the bolded rectangle box. Route the hose from this connection to one end of the Trucool. You may need to add a splice and short length of hose for it to reach. Attach a length of hose to the opposite end of the Trucool and route it back to the cooler line shown. This will place the Trucool in a series after the OTA stock trans cooler.
Hope this all makes sense.

Frank, When you got your BTS trans did you get a new radiator and cooler. The reason I ask is you have a e99 and my e99 does NOT have the trans cooler built in the radiator. So I was wondering what Brain did or what was his take on trans coolers and radiator is ?

I had already upgraded my Radiator to the later style with the OTW cooler before I went to BTS. I also had a Tru-cool in place of the stock cooler, and Brian thought that it was enough cooling, but I called him a week later and ordered a 6.0 cooler just to be on the safe side.
I should have thought ahead and had them install one while I was there, the install part is free.
He's a big fan on the 6.0 cooler and the OTW radiator.
