Looking for a TT

The wife and I are looking for a TT for our family.
We are looking at a Jayco 314bds and a North Country 32BHDD.
Do any of you have any experience with these brands?
Is one better than the other?
Thanks.

Quality control is so variable I would discourage you from attempting to shop by brand. You will find some units from each manufacturer that are disasters and some that are quite good. In the same price range, average units will vary little based on my experience.

I wish you were a month earlier. I just traded in my Jayco 304BH. Excellent condition but had no slide-outs. We didn't need the bunks due to the kids growing up and out of the nest. We loved our Jayco for the ease of maintanence and dependability. The unit was aluminum skinned and served us extremely well for 11 years. As Scott said tho, you cannot judge a TT by the brand. Good luck in your search and let us know what you choose!

I haven't, but if this is your first RV give some thought as to service work after the sale. RVs are not like cars. Some dealers will work on campers they did not sell, others will only work on the ones they sold. When possible I try to encourage folks to establish a relationship with someone they trust and will use over the long haul.
