Get one of dem wooden rollers used for putting up wallpaper for pressing it down onto the metal. The best thing to do is to clean the metal VERY well. Especailly in cold weather, it is advisable to use a heat gun. There are no real directions dood.. just do it 
If you plan on doing any competing in spl you MUST check the rules for your paricular class prior to doing this. For example, with dB Drag, if you put more than two layers on any metal foward of your B pillar, you will automatically be bumped up to extreme class
