brakes??

ok not sure what the deal is but my brake pedal is hard and its like i have no brakes.... it dose this at first start.. and after it has sat for a while.... but after a few min of driveing it stops.... can you guys help??? thanks

I'd bet you need a new vacuum pump ...

damn it! water pump last week now vp..... she must no i was looking at a dmax for a new dd..... but its ok traded my 91 mustang for a 99 ranger

You think a D max would be better ?What keeps GM parts from wearing out ?...

I don't think Rick was making a joke.....

He was getting at the point of trading one set of problems for another. Everything wears out over time and just buying a different truck may get you a few more miles before you have to start fixing it.

Have you ever done a water pump on a Duramax? The 01-05's aren't bad (still more time consuming than a 7.3L by far), but the 06-current are a NIGHTMARE. I mean, when you have to take out the starter to change a water pump, that is stupid.

no not at all.. right now my 96 is my dd... makes it hard to fix what i need to working concrete 6 days a week.. so was looking at a dmax for a dd while i wix my ps... but dont care for the chevy body style... i love my obs ps..... and got it a little brother.. lol goy a 99 ranger to let my ps rest a little... and get the almost 6 grand of goodies i got on her
