6 Disc CD Load ERROR

6 Disc CD Load ERROR
I have a 2005 Ford Expedition EB Edition and have a problem with the 6-disc changer not loading cds. There are NO cds in the player and when you try to load one it states "LOAD ERROR" even for every slot that you choose.
Any suggestions?
If I had to replace this with a 3rd party player, would that devalue the Expedition if I were to sell it one day?

had same issue with my 2000...found a thread somewhere on how to fix it but basically just opened it up and some of the screws had come loose...just work on a good surface that if any screws or springs fall out you can find them...pretty straight forward just work slow...worst case it still doesnt work best case you fix it
