2wd or 4wd. if 4wd there is a coupler on the rod it is in between the steering box and the wheels move it to fix.

You may have a ball joint going out or you may have a tire issue. Put a breaker bar (jack truck up) under the left front tire a pull up opn it to see how much movement you have and then go to the right and check it. Check you psi in your tires and rotate them and see if the 'pull' changes.

ball joints were just replaced by the first owner of the truck (i just bought it) and i have checked the tires and they are just fine.

And it is a 4X4 so ill have to look at the coupler on the rod to see what i can do.

Thanks guys

Don't give a hoot about how you think the the 'tires are fine', rotate them and see if you have a change.

don't be wrenchen on something that may not be broke.

Is it actually pulling one direction, as in, if you let go of the steering wheel the truck goes off in another direction? If so, I just had a similiar problem, made sure all my tires were inflated properly, because they weren't. Pull went away. Definately rotate the tires. Front suspension on the 4wd is stone age simple. Basically one adjustment on the drag link to change toe in/out. There is a way to adjust caster/camber but not so simple and is probably ok. My guess is PO didn't have an alignment done after ball joints were replaced. Can do a pretty good alignment at home, jack up front end, remove tires. Measure across from the front of one rotor to the front of the other rotor. Then measure backs of rotors. You want to adjust drag link so the front measurement is about a 1/16 or so toed in. I THINK, LOL. Somebody with more steering knowledge will probably chime in. But my method above will get you close.
