Bfg all terrain t/a ko is the stock tire on my 2010 (245/75/17) I want just a bit bigger and am thinking about 285/70/17. Im on the fence about gear swap to 4.10 or 4.30 and kind of need to figure out what size tire ill be running. I dont go mudding or anything but i think the upsize will do everything better without much of a mpg trade off. Its 31.47 to 32.71 so i probably will need to adjust my wdh setup.
Any thoughts? I definintly need load range E and there dont seem to be many choices. Ive not had problems with the stock bfg but only had them in 1' of snow thus far
I really want to move on gears soon the 3.73 are not ideal as i hit just over 15k gcw with my trailer when i hit the scales.
Also any recomendations for a northern virginia shop to do a regear? I want it done right first time after reading some horror stories!
