Biggest tire size?

Does any one know the biggest size tire I can put on a 99eb with a six inch suspension. It's the standard suspension right now not the load leveling one. I'm looking at 36x14.50x16. I have a 3 inch body lift not installed yet, but I can't do everything at once so I plan on doing the suspension lift then the body lift only if I need to. What back spacing do I need? Thanks Guys.

What size diffs do you have? With a 6inch suspension and 3 inch body you would have no problem clearing a 36inch tire, I 'm just wondering on you axles.

I'm note sure what your talking about. The axles are 1/2 ton. and the gears are 3:73. I know I need to up grade the gears with bigger tires.

Do you have Dana 44, 8.8, 9 inch differential. It is suggested that you don't go over a 35-36 inch tire on the 44 and 8.8 diff's depending on how much offroad you see. There have been plenty of people that break axles (44's) when they run tire sizes 36 or over. Then again some people do just fine, depending on the use. Make sure you are aware of what you axle is rated for before put on too large of a tire and end up breaking one. I believe last months(or months before) 4 wheeler has a great article on ford axles and their ratings as far as strenght and maximium tire size. It's cheaper to upgrade then it is to replace.

The smallest rim you can put on an expedition is 16. But thanks anyways.
