Emissions in RI

does anyone no if it is mandatory in RI to have a catalytic converter on a 1996 351 f350 4x4 over 8000 gawr. Because i plan to run long tubes, true duals with some bullets. and wanted to know if there would be a problem when i go get it inspected. i know there isnt a sniffer test for over 8000 but dont know if the cat is mandatory

True duals

If you got your duals on let me know how it worked out. Having issues here. What happened with sensors, etc.

You need a GVWR of over 8500 to be exempt from emissions inspection.
