could one cause the other?
So my 94 f150 4x4 started acting rough out of the blue. While driving down the street everything seems fine but when i turn the truck develops a mind of its own. Which ever direction I turn, it wants to keep pulling that way and i mean hard. Once i YANK the wheel in the other direction it seems to go away. After talking with a few people everyone agrees its prob the steering box. So think that since i'm going to tinker anyway why not check brakes and bearings. when i removed the locking hub to get to the bearings, the lock fell apart obviosly broken. thinking it was odd i put duct tape over the hub and took it for a ride and my steering issue seemed to diminish almost completely. being an amature mechanic (at best) i am even more confused. please help.
p.s. i have already replaced u joints on both side after something similar happened before.
