Well, another awesome weekend widing down and headed for the start of another work week. Ugghhhhh. Hope everyone's weekend was awesome or better and you week goes well.
Mine was awesome, spent it doing exactly what I wanted to- working on my Falcon. I think I have about 6 more days and I'll be done with scraping off that friggin undercoating. Man is that a job and a half.
Still in Southern California, but loading up the F-250, putting the car in the trailer and moving the family back to FL at the end of the month.
I was in the auto parts store today picking up a few last minute wiring goodies to finish installing my towing mirrors for the trip. The weather felt perfect outside. Little over cast... cool breeze picking up just enough to shake the trees outside a little. Keep in mind, the folks out here mistake a light mist for what they call 'rain'.
One of the locals (local to SoCal) walked in with a worried look on his face... and asked his buddy "Dood... doesn't this weather make it seem like the end of the world or something?"
It was all I could do to resist slapping him for being a little girl. I laughed at him... and he's probably still not sure why.
Can't wait to be back to Fl... where men... aren't little girls.
My dad and I went to the Tampa boat show last friday...
It was a little disappointing about how expensive owning a boat is nowadays.
We went to one in Philadelphia 30 something years ago and the boats have changed so much since then.
my a/c quit in my truck last week, and i have just started thinking about fixing it... I dont drive much lately and its coming into cooler weather...but I figure around $350 for parts and another $100 for evac and recharge once I finish repairs...
I need to hook up the uv light and check for leaks first...its had dye in it for years and i check it occasionally...im half tempted to just evac and recharge it and see if i can get another 2 years out of it...
Good morning to you Tim. I'm giving Fordzilla some TLC this weekend. Changing the oil/filter and fuel filters. Then I'm watching some football. It's a great day here in NE FL. 81 degrees, cloud cover, and a gentle breeze. Great day to work on the truck.
