Speedo Drive Gear
I'm working on a 1986 E350 for a friend (valve job, front seal, etc.), and could use a little help.
The speedo gear is incorrect (reads 55mph when actual speed is 60mph). Also, after about a month, the speedo drive gear breaks. The speedo head or cable do not appear to be binding up (the spedometer needle doesn't jump around).
There is not an ID tag on the differential housing. The only numbers found were on the housing and the rear cover, and they are probably casting numbers:

The Ford garage hasn't been much help in determining which drive gear I should install for a 1986 E350 with 351W & C-6.
They tell me there are at least 5 different drive gears for that arrangement.
Any help is greatly appreciated.
