Kevin, the same for me. I have been out since the first of june. Still have the roof, food, fuel, a great lady and actually, after 40 years of busting my ***, I am enjoying a little time off. I am getting my head clear (I know Tim, there was nothing there to begin with), looking at life a little differently than I was a few years ago (who needs all of that damn drama), and really have not decided what I am going to do. I have my PI license back but have not done a thing towards it. Oh well, I do say that I have enjoyed my first summer off. I feel like a freaking school teacher, but even they have returned to work. LOL
Hey Rod, step on Tim's little toe and find out! HAHAHAHAHAHAHA He is real sensitive about that little toe for some reason, you can stop the hell out of the rest and he won't flinch. ROTFLMAO,
No kidding. This is some good weather for getting sick. As if the kids going back to school wasn't enough opportunity to get sick again.
My girl was sick all last week and ended up missing two days, Dr's orders. I woke up this morning with a sore throat

So far I've been keeping us afloat with flea markets and odd jobs. But the flea market season is winding down and I'm running out of things to sell anyways.
And, the odd jobs are slowing down too. I was hoping to earn enough to get a plow on my truck before winter but it just never happened. And even if I had, it's just not a reliable income. Sometimes we get hammered with snow, sometimes it only snows a few inches the whole winter.
I have a lead though. I never give up. The guy that bought the property across the road from me has run into a problem. Timber isn't selling very high and he's stuck with quite a bit of trees he's downed with no place to take them and no way of getting them there. It's got the wheels turning in my head on how to capitalize on the situation.

ugh... that sounds normal. My little girl came home Wed with a low grade fever but we whooped it with Motrin and she didn't miss any school. I haven't picked up anything yet but I fear it won't be long. She starts soccer this week so nothing like cold evening air and running to bring on the illnesses.
In other news, we hiked almost 6 miles today up on the scenic highway on a geocaching trip. Long day particularly since I had an extra 45lbs of daughter on my shoulders for about 4 of those 6 miles
Still raining here just after noon. Some roads in Beckley are already closing or have high water warnings. Last I heard, it's supposed to rain through Wed morning.
