Question 1992 F250 XLT 4x4 shortbed

I have a few questions

First: I'm not sure what shocks to use on the truck i have. for the front and rear.

second: What type of lift do I use for the front cause i think the rear is lifted a little.I would like them the same height so i can get some 35's under it.

Your front end has probably just settled a bit (old/tired springs). Personally...I would replace all four of the springs (not just the front two). Any two front springs that you purchase aren't very likely to give you an even ride height (you'd be dealing with two old and two new springs).

You will want springs and shocks that are matched. i.e. 3" lift springs and shocks that have an adequate amount of travel to go with them.

I'm sure that there are plenty of cheaper ways to lift you truck...I'm just throwing this out there as an example.

Item #F840TK-H / Skyjacker Suspensions

I've dealt with Rubicon Express (Jeep) and Old Man Emu (Toyota Land Cruiser). You'll just have to do some digging around to see what a good kit would be for your truck. I've just gotten into researching these trucks and haven't gotten that far myself.

I tell you what, take the TTB out of the front and scrap it, put a dana 60 under the front with some 1 ton springs, and then add a little more lift to the back and be done with it. If you put new springs on that TTB its gonna stay layed out.

Another option for a straight axle would be to find a dana 44 from a 79 or so 3/4 ton ford. thats what my trucks got in it. youd just have to get lucky and find one that someone doesnt know what its worth
