which way do I face the subs?
Does anybody else have a bronco? if so which way did you face the sub or subs? and did you have much trouble with vibrations? I'm talking for two pioneer 10s rated at 500max and 250RMS I'm bulding two seperate boxes rights now, they are put together and I'm waiting to put the carpet on them so I can cut the holes for the subs and ports I just have to save a little $$$. I don't want to cut the wrong size for the subs and then have to make a whole new front for the boxes.

I have my 2 12" MTX subs facing the rear of my vehicle. I would suggest to try it both ways and see what you think, forwards and backwards, but I am thinking facing them to the rear will sound the best in your vehicle.

For hatchbacks and suv-style vehicles, one of the best ways to go is to make a CRX-Style Box. This involves creating a ported box where the sub(s) fire(s) up and the port fires towards the tailgate/hatch.

i helped a kid design a CRX style box for his bronco and he said it was insaly loud and deep (tuned it to 30hz). for sealed face it at the tailgate, for ported go CRX style if u can afford the space.
