I have a major problem with a '90 F-250 Diesel. Some moron put a jumper wire in the fuse box for the brake lights to work, now they need help fixing it. There are now three maybe even more wires fried in the harness that runs behind the dash. I pretty much have the dash out of the pickup. Does anyone have any idea where I could find this harness. It starts with and includes the fuse box and the wiring that goes in/comes out of it and goes to the other electrical connecters. I talked to a guy I know that's the parts man at a Ford dealership and he says they don't make the fuse box or harness any more. The box itself is salvageable, but some of the wires coming out are fried. I'm just afrais some of the wires that are taped together with the wire that was shorted may be melted with it. I may possibly have to untape and inspect if it comes down to it.
I guess I have to be the one to tell you that the only thing tom do is get another harness from the Same type truck that you have.
There is a main harness for a certain trim, plus extra harnesses for options.
