I've always wondered who actually paid for all those repairs and upgrades? Surely not the homeowner.
And all I ever noticed was his truck was black. Regardless of make or model, which seem to change a lot.
Ummm... and my boyfriend is the one that watches the show - not me. Nope.
Watch the credits... Them there folks pay the bills.. I think some of the labor is donated by local trades, but it is clear they are doing it for the marketing benefit. At least that is what I would do!
I've towed with a tundra and as good as they look, I would never buy one. When towing, you have two rev options, 2000 rpm or 5000 rpm. What a pain to pull with.
Thanks for holding the flag on the Canada thing marauder92v! You very correct. In fact the company that makes the step gates for the SD is 5 miles from where I work .... in Canada. When it comes to the big 3 it is really a made in North America thing versus made in the USA. Not Toyota bashing at all but if I can get a quality product made in NA at a reasonable price that is what I will buy every time.

You're welcome! Sometimes we "Americans" forget that we are in this together. Unfortunately many people from the States think Canada's contribution to the world is only Maple syrup and Molson beer
Marauder92V, I'm so hurt ...... you forgot about back bacon, beavers, hockey, Crown Royal (in additon to Bourbon not instead of) Jim Carey, Mike Myers, Celine Dion (sorry), Pamela Anderson, Paul Anka, Dan Akroyd, and lets not forget Justin Bieber (ok another sorry). Ok, so there maybe a few slip through but overall its a good list
AMEC ..... I hear you but I always get into a condundrum with the Nisan Titan. It was designed 100% by US Engineering, and it's totally, 100%, built in the US. It has the Nissan badge but cant even be bought in Asia. That one makes me wonder a bit. By the way I dont own one, just saying.
We have a large GM plant here in Ontario and I know guys that are nervous driving anything not NA through town. In reality they are babies as nothing would likely happen but years ago there were some incidents.

Ford is one of Canada's significant manufacturers. Several models were made there for years. Ford Motor Company of Canada - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
Ever wonder where Ford's Windsor motor was made?

Yes....and they've done the same for GM over the years. I realize that Canada isn't just America's hat.
We also forgot a very select group of Canadians made famous; Brooke Berry, Kimberley Stanfield, Peggy McIntaggart, Tracy Tweed, Shannon Tweed, Jayde Nicole, Krista Kelly, Dorothy Stratten, and Tailor James. Hmmmmm who knows what they were famous for? Ok, who knows without Googling the names?
