After reading everything on here regarding spark plug torque I'm still undecided what to to go with,#13 with neverseize or #28 dry? Going to install Motorcraft asgf22wm plugs
I understand these are platinum with a nickel plated shell.I am leaning towards #28 dry because #13 seems really low to me.
Any thoughts before I get at it?
Thanks in advance.
13 to 15 lb's with a small amount of anti-seize. Aluminum heads are too soft for 28 lb's. Some people will tell you different, I'm just telling you what I did at the plug change and it's been fine.
I split the difference went about 22 with a very small amount of anti seize.
I'm probably around 20 lbs dry but they are nickel plated plugs.
It just felt like 14 was not near enough and 28? just couldn't do it lol
It's a done deal now I'll see what happens, but the trucks running great now.
