my truck went down Thursday night while some friends were using it
they said it "bucked" once going down the road and had a big loss of power
then as they limped it off the turnpike they say it was puking out the over-flow bottle and was a milky white color...... but never over heated
i have yet to see anything as the truck hasnt made it home yet can you all give me your first thoughts??? thanks
doesn't sound good maybe oil cooler/egr cooler with factory gauges you can't tell much. but puking is not a good thing if its white slurry then its probably has oil in the coolant hopefully the oil leaked in the coolant and not the coolant in to the intake. look at tech folder for all the trouble shooting you can stand.
also some one with more knowledge will be around soon
If it's puking milky white out the overflow bottle it sounds like the oil cooler failed. The motor will empty all it's oil into the cooling system and shut down and you'll have a huge mess to deal with, unfortunately. Do NOT let anyone start or drive the truck, if it even will start.
