I have my stabilzer jacks down. I hope and pray that my Jayco TT and my 'soon to be delivered' fiver can withstand 85mph winds. Wish me luck

You are going to need all the luck that you can muster. Just hope you stay on the West side of the storm. If you get on the East side or north, hang on. Whenever these things hit down here in Texas, that is what the weather people keep telling us.

Good luck!

We are ok I think around here. 30-40 mph and a few inches of rain. Got to go to York, PA tomorrow and pick up the better half and the 5er. Gonna take it nice and slow.

Good luck and prayers sent your way. The big problem will be trees down on power lines. Top off water and fuel tanks hang on tight and be ready to enjoy the camper when it's over. You might be sleeping and cooking in it for a day or two till the power comes back on.

Yeah being I'm only about 12 or so miles from the ocean in NJ, I tried to prepare a little. I huddled the 2 campers, 24' cargo, and boat all together hoping they'll be out of harms way, keeping the 5er hooked up to the dually.

Hope all went well. I played it safe and pulled mine out of the campground and went to a hotel with no trees around to fall on to the 5er better to be safe than sorry. Got lucky and didn't get hit like they where calling for.

I was in York, PA for the event. Lots of wind, some small branches, leaves and debris all around and on the road, rain and more rain. Pretty much a non event there.

Had to sweep the 5er down before I could pull the slides in is about it.

Glad to hear all went well. No wonder why they usually have a womans name. Never know what its going to do or go in the next 5 minutes! No offense to the ladies on the boards, just experience, 2 daughters, wife and a female dog.

Well, we just got power back this morning. I LOVE camping, but not when it's in your house. Had minimal damage to the trees around us and luckily nothing happened to the house or TT. A big assed tree just clipped the last 1/2" of the flashing on the edge of the shed. God was looking out for us fosho. Tommorow morning we're taking the TT to New Jeresy to trade in for the cedar creek fiver! Wooohooo! It's unreal the amount of crap tucked away in tight storage spaces over the years. Wifey took a hair drier to the old bumper stickers on the front end of the TT and saved them in a scrap book. Ah, the memories. I refuse to slap new stickers on the front of the fiver. No way Jose.
