The scenario is this,
Yesterday after work we (helper & me) come out to our trucks and found them messed with. Drivelines ziptied, mirrors, steering wheels taped and so on....Now,these guys left earlier and it just so happens that one has a chebby and the other a dodge, both diesels. Payback is certain. Chime in with some ideas
I am sure everyone has heard of the grease under the door handle.. step it up one, find a semi trailer, the grease they use NEVER comes off.. People months later still get greased from under the door handle when applied correctly..
Horn wired to head lights, toggle switch thrown in so they can turn it off.
Of course the easy, lift the vehical and put something under the axle so as the tires are touching the ground, but will not move the car.
Nothing to mean, but unplug the crank sensor
if you can get into it, 100' of twine on the inside of the truck, tied between seats and door, steering wheel.. takes a while, but it is fun..
Turn a roll of duct tape, sticky side out and wrap the truck shut..
remember those cans with the springs in them, the door to the fuel area will normally hold it compressed, so the next time they get fuel..
I am little baked today, these are just the ones I remember off the top of the head.
Fill there trucks with packing peanuts thro the sliding rear window if they have one. Fill the defrost vents with baby powder and turn the fan on full for the defrost. Remove the ***** from the heater control and turn the heat on full with full fan speed. If they have manual windows also remove the cranks for them. Then mail the parts to their homes. Remove there drive shafts and have them do a scavenger hunt for them. If they are automatic trans you could disconnect the linkage. Horn to the windshield wippers would be good. Then they would have to fix in the rain.
How about ignore their bullshxx and not stoop their level. That way you avoid a lot of wasted effort, possible property damage and possible vandalism charges. Just an idea.

Thats no fun!! Whats the harm in a little payback? Its all for laughs, right?
For paybacks on a failed attempt to TP our house, the following night my kids and I took a couple rolls of saran wrap and totally cocooned their car!

Car Talk (Bob and Ray's NPR radio show) website used to have a practicl oke section. I have not been there in a good number of years, but ome of the jokes were hilarious, and many were auto-related.
Just google "Car Talk" and you'll get a link straight to their site to get some ideas to point you in the right direction.
Yup, I went to the local Costco a few weeks ago and some unfortunate employees car was completely sealed with the 24" wide cling wrap. The funny part was it'd likely been that way all day, done by a coworker very early in the shift. It's harmless, it won;t scratch the paint or do any damage, and it makes other people smile. Just as a good prank should be.
