Got my 2011 today

sort of an impulse buy...lol

Had a friend with a '07 6.0 like me trade his in for a new one. Saw him after he had it for a few weeks and he said "TRADE IT...much better truck in everyway". So I started looking around and found a few in my area that fit my needs. Also saw that Ford was offering $5k in rebates so I went to look. 2 weeks later found the right truck and the right deal.

Traded in '07 F350 6.0 CC 4X4 XLT w/ 75k miles and my 4" lift (which started puking 2 weeks ago btw...)

for a

'11 F350 6.7 CC 4x4 FX4 Lariat....LOADED. I dont think there is an option missing from this truck besides the factory bed cover. Stocker was $63,015 and was down to $52k before my trade. Overall very very happy w/ the purchase. Im loving the Sync and leather!

Congratulations on the new truck...until someone takes their first ride in the 2011/2012 truck it is hard to understand the big difference between them and the older trucks...I sure like mine

Regards

i noticed you got it from sarat ford in aqawam. Are you from the area? I am on the other side of the mountain. I keep looking at the 2011-2012 and as much as I like the things i am hearing about the 6.7. I just can get over some of the styling errors. Such as the wheel lip crease, the pond on the hood, and the [ ] around the grill bars. Plus i just got the bull bar, and a couple other things that I wouldnt want to pay for again.......and its almost paid for.....i love my 2008 6.4 just hit 21k miles

You should be able to put those wheel and tires on your 11. The stockers are 35's and I've heard of guys putting 37's on with only 2" leveling kit.

BTW Congrats on taking the plunge!!

Very nice truck Jake.
I kinda like the silver ones myself.

2005 - Liked it a lot, but it had way too many 6.0hhhh issues.

2009 - no comment

2011 - Love it!

-Gavin

Chalk me up! Got mine day before yesterday. 2011 f-250 cc Lariat 4x4. I stopped by a Chevy dealer today, rolled down the window and asked one of the salesmen where I could get my 5th wheel hitch installed. The one who wasn't standing there with his mouth hung open gave me two places and numbers LOL!

YES!!! Nice!!! They are sweet Trucks...getting mine early this week.

Stopped by GMC dealer 3 weeks ago, the one sales guy there sold Fords as well that took me for a spin in a GMC 2500HD, Anyhow he had a 2011 Crew Cab King Ranch 6.7 for a Demo for 3000 miles. When he asked how I liked the GMC, I said I don't...the Superduty is bigger, nicer riding, and has way more power....then I said, you know what I mean....He quietly replied "yes, I do".
