DynaMat Alternatives?

I'm thinking of adding some sound deadening material to my truck, but DynaMat is so expensive. I'm sure like most products, there is another product that is more reasonably priced with comparable quality.

Has anyone had any luck with other brands?

Lizard skin is way over priced!!! You can make the stuff at home all it is made of is paint and glass microspheres. I used Peel & seal on my entire cab. Cheap alternative to Dynamat - Rat Rods Rule - Rat Rods & Hot Rods, Rat Rod Photos, Rat Rods For Sale, Builds, Parts, Tech, Talk & Advice!

I've seen one that has a logo of a pig. Can't recall the name.

I saw Fat Mat online but you get
37.5 sq ft per box flat pack box, just a bit more than our competitors "comparable" products.
60 mils thick (.060" and .52lbs per sq ft, check the weight/thickness/cost of the other products on the market Ours is the correct balance to get the job done as needed.
24 sheets, 15"x15"

of Raamat for 90 bucks plus shipping. If you can get as thick of a deadener for cheaper...let me know. I will buy it!

I Think this is the cheapest way. I did a quick google search and everything is around 100 bucks and it seems like the older the company the more expensive the product.

I have dynamat in my F-150 and the F-350 got the peel and seal and I think the peel and seal handles the road noise better and the exhaust noise. Cost me 500.00 to do the F-150 and only cost me 150.00 or so to do the CC f-350. I gutted the interior and did the entire inside of the cab with 2 layers in a cross pattern took me about 7 hours from start to finish.

I think I'll try that. I've got to go to lowes tomorrow anyway. Any idea what section you'd find that stuff in?

I did check out the hardware store. It is not that heavy of a duty layer as I would like. That's why I ordered a roll of Raamat. It did 4 doors and the entire back of my Tundra and I had extra left over. I will use the left over and a new roll on my F250. You wont be disappointed.
If you buy it from Home Depot...let us know what you think of it overall. I have stocks in Home Depot so I will appreciate your patronage!

Ice and water shield (roofing material), from a lumber yard. Peel and stick - use several layers if you like. You can use the rest of the roll when you re-roof your dog house.

I have a single 10" and 2 amps behind the seat of my 03 SD CC. It rattles when the bass hits hard. I was considering doing something like this on the back cab wall. Would it hurt anything if I remove and cover the 2 vents that are back there?

The vents on the back of the cab? You need those. They prevent your ears from blowing out when you slam the door lol

Leave the holes but deaden all around it and inside it if you can. The bass will sound so much better once you deaden the metal areas.
