As some of you know I found a source of original FORD mats that were supoesedly in the EARLIER DARK PRAIRIE TAN color that was used in 1999s to 200?
WELL, I got these mats and they ARE NOT the DARK PRAIRIE TAN, they are the LIGHTER NEWER color which I don't know the name of.
I am trying to decern what the newer color is called and when it was introduced??
I now have 2 sets (fronts) of the newer color mats (new, never used) that I bought from the same company-1 about 3 years ago, and 1 just recently.
I thought the ones I got 3 years ago WERE the DARK PRAIRIE TAN and would match my originals but don't so they are on the shelf.
I'm hoping for some communication from the seller to return the latest ones.
I have asked them to log on here and see for themselves-they seem to insist that the lighter ones ARE DARK PRAIRIE TAN.

 

The seller is telling me now that the change took place in '04......anyone know for sure??
