Door Not shutting completely
Hi all,
I've got an 1982 e350 van chasis.
The door on it closes and holds closes but not tight and causes it to vibrate bad. The striker on the frame is just metal. On my 90 mustang it has a little plastic piece. Should the van have this piece of plastic?

I'm not sure on the vans, but I think you have already discovered your problem. A plastic sleeve usually goes on the striker post. You should be able to find replacements at your local parts stores.
