running real rich
My truck is running rich, real rich.. at first I thought it was the cardb, but my carb has mixture adjsutment screw. My engine is the 460 and the stock holley 4-barrel carb. any help would be much appreciated...

ok there is a couple of things you can check first check to see if your carb is bleeding fuel while its running look down the primaryor front two barrels and see if fuel is dripping past them if it is then your looking at a rebuild or the floats are out of adjustment question has it backfired on you at any time a backfire will cause the power valve that they have in them to blow out this will cause poor performance and truck will run rich if both the of things i mentioned are go try readjusting your air mixture screws
