Question power mirrors

If neither power mirror works is it the fault of the control switch on the drivers arm rest or what ?
I've moved my mirrors all over and can't get either one to operate..
Can you clean the control switch or what ?
Any help would be appreciated, btw the fuse is good, I checked that the first thing.

I've had good luck removing the switch and cleaning the contacts.

90% of mirror issues are the switch. People love to drive with the windows down, and they just get trashed.

I cleaned the contacts etc.. The switch seems to be bad as it hangs and won't go from R mirror to L mirror... So it seems like I'll look on Flea Bay and see what I can find..
Thanks for all the help..

I just ordered a replacement unit made by DORMAN from EBAY for $16 delivered.

Anyone know if you need to take the door panel off to replace or does it pop out?

it pops out. pull off the bezel, unplug the switch, and pop it out.

So youre saying you dont need to pull the interior door panel off? You just pull it up out of the door?

Pull up on the front of the switch panel... toward the front of the truck. Grab the switch panel at the point and pull up. It will pop out of the door panel.

Be sure to pull on the front of the switch panel as CSIPSD said. If you pull up on the back, the plastic tab that holds the switch panel in the door panel breaks, and you wind up looking like this guy >> .
