I'm in the middle of the 50 cent fix. I decided not to do this job earlier and that was a mistake... I'm trying to check everything that's accessable while I have it apart.
Is there anything about the turbo that I should be looking at? How long will the turbo last? Will I be able to tell if its failing? If it does fail, will it leave me on the side of the road or will I have enough power to make it home?
Take the intake tube off the turbo and look at the wheel. Look for dusting of the wheel, and if there are any chips in the fins. turbos need really good air filters. always. and good oil pressure and and
