Just got back from 10 days at race point CC.......My X pulled the our 27 ft camper and all our gear effortlessly. Also used it as our over sand vehicle this year.....handled the dunes and the beach like a champ.
If u air down properly you can drive around in 2wd without much of a problem. I hardley use 4wd. With my BFG's I go 10 up front and 9 in the back. And fly around or crawl everywhere.
When we go to the beach (least 3 or 4 times a month) watchin/pullin/helpin is most of the fun.
I just drove on the beach for the first time yesterday in nagshead/rodanthe. I aired down to 30 and used 4hi and it was a blast, never even spun. I think next time I'll air down to 20 and see how it does me.
Tyz, ull love it even more goin down another 10 psi!!
Its alot of fun to mash around in the dunes. I go with all my kids almost everyweekend. My oldest just got his 1st truck now we still go all the time but hes drivin his own truck. We have so much fun playin in the sand.
Pismo is my backyard. It would be awesome to get some members together for a weekend.
