Tranny swap
I want to swap a e4od into my 88bronco right now it has a 351w and a c-6 tranny not a bad set up but with 220,000 miles I dont get the best mpg I am planning on a new engine and figured wile I was at it I could swap the e4od in. Them came from the factory in 89 so I figured it must be a fairly easy swap.I know it is computer controlled so I would need that but what else should I know about, like will it bolt to my stock crossmember will my transfercase work, it's the bw 1356. Any help would be greatly apreciated.

Your t-case is fine, but you'll need the right crossmember and your driveshafts will have to be cut - the E4OD is the longest transmission. In addition to a new computer, remember you'll also be doing some rewiring and adding some sections of wiring harness.
