Sorry for the hijack HASBROUK. We're trying to size and re-size pictures for this thread and another.

Now back to our regularly scheduled programming which is already in progress.

 

I under stand where you guys are at but think of it with every light tinted all black wheel dark tints black mesh grill and black stacks my two cars are two tone and have metalic paints that's why with this truck I wanted a bold solid monotone color

I just can't see it man. I'm with everyone else in thinking that a dual color setup with 80% black and 20% green would be best.

hope I'm wrong and your final outcome is a real showstopper though

On the semi there is ^so much visual disruption that the color does not stand out as much as it will on the SD which has a very clean line with little disruption take a second look at the picture and tell me what stands out first the color or the shapes, then look at a picture of a SD and tell me what stands out first the color or the shape? I had to do a thesis on this subject for a design class 25 years ago! It is still relevant though, the shape demands the color! Not the other way around the green is a beautiful color! But it will become overwhelming with the body lines of the SD if used in conjunction with another color to tame the visual impact it will become a strikingly beautiful paint scheme!

It's 2011...Go green baby!!!! You can always change it if it's too bright.
I wanna see it green!

 

There is a jacked up F-150 down the road from me in that color as the primary and I didn't like it but that was just me.

As far as it not being rite for the shape it has a 2011 front end the boldest shape they have made

Plus antbody remember that yellow "armadillo" superduty ford made

hey, i love what you're doing to your truck, i created this account primarily to say the color of the truck will look amazing, especially if the chrome is all blacked out, if you're painting it yourself there's no harm in trying out the color, you can't return it anyways, it's your truck go for it!

 

I think it will look sweet. I'd black out the chrome as well. I think the black would go way better than the chrome with that color. No matter what it will be unique, which is a good thing in my book. Hell, that truck is already unique.
