hey pro mustang has a victor jr with the bungs welded up for fuel injectors, got the rails and a inlet adapter to use a throttle body from a mustang(more likely aftermarket if its goin on a 460) for like 749. then you could use a mustang computer with harness(or aftermarket like FAST...accel...etc) and maf.......this setup keeps me up dreamin at night....

The aftermarket potential for carbed engines is huge, used blocks and heads are still plentiful and cheap and most EFI engines fall under stringent smog **** legislation. For rodding purposes, the EFI engine requires an engine management system, the wiring harness, upgrading of manifolds, MAF, injectors and fuel pumps for performance purposes. Carbed engines eliminate that requirement. Those are the primary reasons the aftermarket hasn't invested R&D money in Ford EFI engine aftermarket products.
