need help

Having EGR problems. mechanic says its the DPFE solenoid but I swear I dont have one. When hot, idles poorly, and rpm drop out momentarily when at cruising speed. Even went to motorcraftservice.com and couldnt find a vac diagram for my calibration code...its not in their list. its a 93 302. Any suggestions?

You do not have a DPFE sensor. Your truck uses the old style EVP feedback. Both styles of EGR feedback use an EGR Vacuum Regulator (EVR) to modulate the EGR valve. What codes are you getting?

Hey thanks. I got a 332 insufficient flow. I should also mention that it runs ok but poor mileage with the old egr valve and the vac d/c from it. should also say that I have an old custom exhaust, stock exhaust manifolds, true duels, no cat conv, 1 o2 sensor.
